We, the shareholders of Aurcana Corporation, by signing this petition, request that a new head of the Investor Relations Department be hired to replace the current staff member, Jack Barnes. We currently find the present individual in charge of Investor Relations, lacking in their ability to bring forth a proper image of the next up and coming silver mid-cap producer to the public at large. They have not issued news releases in a timely fashion, and as a result, the stock price has languished in the wake of no news. The following paragraphs outline what would be some of the things to look for in a new candidate, as a head/director of the investors relations department at Aurcana. The Director Investor Relations will be responsible for developing the Company's story to the investor community utilizing the Company's strategy, relative strengths, financial forecasts and results in the context of our regulatory disclosure requirements. Working with Vice President, develops and maintains an ongoing investor relations plan that combines our updated forecasts & results with previous guidance and statements. Leads team coordinating all investor communications events including road shows and investor conferences. Qualifications: Possess Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Commerce Degree, MBA or Professional Accounting Designation - C.A., C.M.A., C.G.A. or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience, especially in the field of mining. Possess a strong understanding of securities, investor and financial issues associated with a public company. Have demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team - both functionally and cross functionally. Have demonstrated the ability to work well with all levels of the organization. Have demonstrated excellent written, verbal, presentation and strong program/project management skills. Have demonstrated the ability to think and act strategically, with strong business acumen. Have extensive experience managing complex issues/programs. Have demonstrated excellent planning and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task, work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Have demonstrated experience in developing, maintaining and enhancing internal and external stakeholder relationships. Have a desire to succeed in a fast-paced, evolving and challenging environment. Have experience managing complex programs/projects and investor events. Have experience acting as an official representative of a company or organization.
