AUHSD Cancel School During Extreme Rain/Flood Risks

It isn't safe for students to be outside while there are flash flood warnings. As for students who have to walk to school, it is not safe for them to be outside in this weather for long periods of time

When I walk outside my house, there's a big flood that I can't get through.

I live across from Western High School and saw how flooded the school fields were, couldn't even are the side walk.

School is honestly unsafe. Most of these high schools are flooded and the rain will continue to put tomorrow. Kids driving to school in this weather is extremely dangerous and I don't want my kid participating in this.

Seriously unsafe bc of the conditions outside. The school already has enough absences as it is, and with this weather there will be more: tardies and absences, which means that the school will loose money. Just cancel the day god damn If the school can cancel a day because of broken water pipes now imagine this, this is worse.

I agree with this it's too dangerous especially for the students that actually do have to walk to school and walk home
