Safety of the students is more important than the education.

Because we don't have in door schools, because our district apparently wants to ingnore the fact that we have 112 degree weather and torrential rains, we should at the very least be exempted from attending school tomorrow. The principal and staff can stay in doors if they'd like, but students and janitorial workers don't have that option.

The rain can be a very dangerous thing due to many illness many students can be exposed to this can cause to the extreme death along with students who walk they are waking in water that is freezing and they will get sick due to wet feet and then think the puddles with get into the school which will force the student to walk into the puddles exposing them to many illnesses.

I live on the other side of the district and in order to get to school, I have to go across the city. I do not want to risk injury and/or a crash just to get to school. One day off to ensure the safety of students is really in the best interest of the district. Plus, I know we are poor, but how badly do we need money that you would put student lives in danger?
