I support this effort to "expose the truth"...if it's found that donations have been spent properly then Ms. Rendell would be "exonerated"...if funds have been spent inappropriately then criminal charges should be laid. All will be revealed...hopefully.

I would like to withdraw my signature but I cannot find a way to do that. When I signed it was because it appeared that the rescue was not going to pay the vet bill they had incurred without the owners input and that the owner was going to be held responsible for a bill that she had no say in. In their public statement this rescue indicated that the vet bill would be paid in full and any extra left over friom the donation appeal would be placed in Fruggles account for her future vet needs. This is the best outcome possible and for this reason I would like to withdraw my signature. Inknow that they have huge vet bills for the animals they care for and that the majority of donations go towards those vet bills. I don't think they need to be audited.

Who will be paying for this audit? They aren't cheap. Are you suggesting that Heavenly Creatures use donated or raised funds to pay for an audit requested by someone who cannot string together a couple of paragraphs? You should request one for every Non-Profit. Start your own animal non profit, then you'll know first hand how dollars are spent.

we are not against them helping animals, i myself am a big animal lover and advocate, what we are against is them stealing money from unsuspecting people. The precendent they have set is a bad one now, cause of the fruggles case and cause of the case of wrongfully taking money and lying to people. its not right at all, it makes it bad for the people who really do need help in treating their animals, which is expensive. i say audit heavenly creatures and see where their money goes, then they can see if they are honest or not. i personally will not be giving another dime to this organization.

I believe they have done a wonderful job saving many animals over the years, but if they have nothing to hide then why not get audited to prove to everyone that all the money raised is going to the animals!!
