The death of our son Alejandro Rojas Garcia, on January 24, 2015, has catapulted us in to the most difficult experience in our family's history. As we connect with other families, which are going through this tragedy, we have been moved to request an audience with His
Holiness to allow us the grace of his presence through an audience of prayer.

Life after the murder of a loved one is very difficult, yet our faith in God gives us the resiliency to proceed in obedience to his commandments and in peace. You, as our Holy Father, have shown enormous sensitivity to the persistence grief of murder family survivors. We pray that many families from around the country will have an opportunity to receive your guidance and comfort.
We are praying that this audience be granted for families that are suffering devastation in every aspect of life, as a result of the homicide.

I would love a chance to meet with the Pope, not because I expect him to fix all my problems, I just want him to know how I feel. It been almost 10 years since my gdaughter Jasmine Wallace was murdered and I have no justice, just like many others.
I sign this petition with Faith and Hope that Our Pope can make a difference!!!! Please restore our trust in our neighborhoods and reinforce the laws on illegal guns used to murder our loved ones and neughbors. God bless us all. Thank You in advance. Respectfully, Hilda Flecha
Please allow these suffering families an audience with this most wonderful & understanding Pope. No, I am not Catholic. I am Jewish & have the incredible respect for this man & love for the familie affected by this horror.
I knew Alex to be a good Catholic and a fine young man whose life was cut short by violence. His and other families of violence need solace and hope and i wish the Holy Father could meet with them
We are walking around with open wounds, bleeding and an audience with Pope Francis will offer much comfort as will journey through the criminal justice.

The significance of meeting with these families would have great impact and healing. It would also bring awareness to these issues among a wider public.
