Since we are not utilizing the universities facilities we should get a discounted price for summer semester. The university will not be paying for DEWA and electricity at the same rate as if we were attending university so it is a fair request

It is a tough time for everyone in all aspects. The Coronavirus Pandemic affected everyone. The World’s Economies are in a complicated situation. Many people lost their jobs, have decreased salaries, and businesses are in decline. In response to this, the majority of schools in the UAE introduced 30%-25% waivers.
Therefore, to support AUD students, AUD should reduce tuitions as well.

I just want to add that families are struggling financially, as businesses are shut down and operate on zero revenue. Especially with retail and services-based industries closed, a lot of salaried parents are being laid off, being forced to keep their jobs at more than 50% cut, being told to take unpaid leave for over three months.

I believe the tuition fees should be significantly reduced, since we are NOT getting the same quality of education, distance learning is devastating to deal with, taking into consideration that my major requires use of many programs that I was previously able to access on campus, and I'm unable now. Same goes with the classes and feedback from professors. It has been chaotic so far and I don't see how it is fair to ask for the same tuition fees in the light of so many issues we are dealing with, besides unavailability of campus, we are facing economical issues and many of our family members have lost job and are unable to keep up with the fees at these times. I think AUD should be more considerate and sensible in this situation.
