AUD Fees Reduction

if you want to proceed with charging students for dorms we will proceed with alerting the ministry of education as well as every authority about this. WHY DO WE PAY WHEN THESE ARE UNCERTAIN TIMES AND NO ONE KNOWS IF WE WILL EVEN BE ALLOWED ON CAMPUS BY AUGUST?!!! pressuring students to pay will not work with us :)

AUD needs to start prioritizing the needs of their students over their own capitalist gain! How shameful.

we need a reduction for this semester and upcoming semesters including summer. Having it all online should decrease the university costs so why are the prices still the same, it should be lowered for us. Everyone is struggling to pay now and for the near future as well as for dorm tuition half the students left and went back to their homes. We should get half the money back on this or at least exclude it from the upcoming semester fees by half of this semesters dorm tuition. Many universities are already doing that, AUD should too.

Please reduce the fee it’s getting really hard to manage finances when the world is at such a stand still.

I think that AUD should deduct from next semesters fees because this isn’t acceptable other universities have agreed to do so. I’m not sure why AUD isn’t accepting.

Dear AUD management, As we have always been used to preserving our students, their future and the quality of their education, we hope that you will consider the current situation of the quarantine in Dubai and the world as a whole as a result of the global pandemic CoronaVirus. We hope that you will look at the university tuition fee because most companies have given employees open vacations without salary and we do not know how long the situation will continue, and that online education reduces expenses. I’m in total agreement to what has been stated. In fact the fees that has been paid in January 2020 right until June this year, college need to refund that by Atleast 50% if not more. On the other hand future fees for September semester the fee structure should be reduced by 50% & should be allowed to be paid in interest free installments or to be deferred by Atleast 3 months if not more.i mean we’re genuinely hurt by the current situation & have not received salaries for the last 2 months & do not know what’s in store for future. So authorities needs to take a count of the situation & provide solutions to the society that we’re part of equally taking a hit as much as we are taking it to balance out the situation.

It is unfair that students have to pay full tuition for summer 1, as the course will be taken online. In light of the current situation, many families are struggling financially as they are having salary cuts if they are getting paid at all. Moreover, we are not utilizing the services and resources provided to us from the University, making the reduction of fees a more reasonable option.

I agree with that, payment must be reduced significantly in order for the programs to run at reasonable capacity. Else, we prefer to postpone taking courses Until the situation is stable again.
