Assign him an empty classroom for the year of his contract, ignore him, and then cut him loose. Alabama is an at-will state. Don't waste time giving him a forum.

Neither Dr. Goldberg nor the committee that vetted and then hired him hold the Auburn Creed and/or Auburn values to heart the way we Auburn Alumni do. He is a train wreck that has already happened, and Auburn University is going to pay the damage claims for the post-wreck policy the university just purchased with his hiring. Remedy the mistake and let him go before his hate (speech) and anti-law affliction infects the campus and Alumni support. The hiring committee needs remedial instruction and possible vetting itself. For a research university to not fully research the hiring of this person, should be an embarrassing blunder.
I am an Auburn University Graduate (Class of 1966) as is my wife and an Alumni Association Life Member.

The comments of this individual are not what the Auburn Spirit is about. As I am currently in grad school at Auburn, we have receive numerous emails about equality and justice, and Mr. Goldberg’s comments and mentality about the police and even Auburn’s battle cry are way off track. He does not represent the Auburn family. There are many other things I could say, but I will end with this. Even though I’m only one, I will forever lose respect for the powers that be if this Goldberg is allowed to keep his position. We are Auburn, we cry War Eagle!!

There is no place for a professor that makes comments like this on the campus of Auburn University! I’m surprised he was not vetted more carefully before hiring. Please keep our campus safe!

Why did AU hire such a nonsensical radical in the first place? Who vetted him? That person/those people should be held to account for the decision to hire him.

Mr Goldberg's outrageous, beligerant comments and anti-Auburn sentiment is not worthy of employment at my University much less worthy to TEACH young adults. All he stands for goes completely against the Auburn creed that means so much to the majority who attend and call Auburn their alma mater. It is time for us to stand up for what we believe and what Auburn University stand for!!!

What a destructive way to “teach” the young. This offends me to the core!
