When at&t nixed it's unlimited data plans little more than a year ago it did so under the explanation that they would save everyone money. And that most people did not use a lot of data and didn't need an unlimited plan. So they saved us 15 dollars if you really didn't use much data a 200mb plan was 15. And the most common plan saved us 5.00 because the unlimited plan was 30.00 and gave a reasonable 2gb of data. And we won't get into overage fees. Now they want to charge us more again. That same plan that use to give you 2gb that att says 98% of people never reach the limit on is going to be 30.00 but they say we will give you 3gb. What's the point if most people don't use the 2gb already alotted?And don't ask about teathering really you have to go to a 50.00 plan for that. Really you have to play AT&T for nothing more than the privilege of basicly fliping a switch on. Really I pay for my data I should be able to use it how ever I like be it surfing on my tablet, phone or sharing via a hotspot.Especially if they are going to charge me overages if I go over. And we have to put up with their bloat ware on most phone that we cannot remove and most times causes performance losses. I remember when att would custom order phones from a manufacturer to not have wifi so to force early adopters to have to have a data plan. Now one of their statements is to use wifi to cut down on data consumption. And we won't talk about their lag in the 4g lte space. Come on ATT we have had enough plan better and stop robbing customers because you have planned poorly.
