You have new restaurants and bars opening up like crazy downtown. It will only increase traffic to all the businesses there. Good competition is good competition. They can all ride the wave and let the downtown continue to grow as a destination. Bring on the food trucks. If the businesses trying to stop the competition get too loud, they will lose patrons, not gain them. I would try harder at getting a piece of the pie, rather than get in the way of development. I can say personally I have spent more money on downtown restaurants as a whole, than I ever have in the past. If a business feels that food trucks are going to monopolize the business, and are threatened by their presence, then rethink your business plan. Food trucks are a real, and thriving thing in many places and the restaurants still survive. Times change. Better to adapt then fight the inevitable.

I believe that Food Trucks have the right to use their food trucks for business just like any other businesses here in town. I believe they should be allowed to park where ever they want as long as they get permission from the business they will be in front of on in the parking lot of where they will be. Everyone is out to make a dollar whether it is with food, retail or any other business. We should build each other up, not tear each other down. Time to act our ages not our shoe size. May we all come together!! We all pay our own taxes in our own way and it is no ones business.

I believe we all have the right as "Free Americans" to make a living for our families and that is all they are trying to do
