Petition for support of proposed gymnasium at 22-24 Beach Rd, Kingston Beach

I am in support of this gym opening. We need it!

I used to also run a part of the old shop at Kingston Beach and I would highly support this new business

I believe this would be nothing but a brilliant addition to our community. A new business, creating more business in the area and promoting health in the community.

This is a great initiative, something new and interesting. Fills a gap as most of the other gyms very similar. This offers a new different opportunity.

Not only will a new gym liven up Kingston and promote a healthier lifestyle, but it will bring business to the area with increased foot traffic passing by all the excellent hospitality venues. A much needed improvement to a great area!

This will be a much needed community minded facility that will benefit a wide range of people.

About time we have a "gym" in the Kingborough that is dedicated to strength and power as well as being community based and including softer classes for the elderly. Such a great thing for the Kingborough area <3

I'm really looking forward to this gym opening as it will be the only gym in the Kingborough and Huon community where you can use a facility setup for people who compete in strongman and powerlifting. Nowhere down this way has a facility for this and i am currently travelling to Moonah from Huonville for training so it will save me a fortune in fuel and also time.

This would be such a fantastic addition to the community. A gym is far healthier than bars and takeaway stores yet we seem to allow those in ‘the village’.

I couldn't be more in favour of this. What a great addition to kingston beach. Not a big chain. But a home grown community Gym. Get behind it.

I am signing this petition to support the proposed gymnasium for 22-24 Beach Rd Kingston Beach. As a growing cultural hub within the southern region of Tasmania, Kingston is deserving of the best facilities, and this proposed gymnasium would help strengthen the local economy of the area while also improving the life of residents. The proposed gymnasium provides a holistic exercise outlet while also filling exponentially growing exercise niches that aren’t covered within the local area. Flow-on benefits to other local businesses within the village precinct would be numerous, and the general health benefits to community members would be invaluable. Furthermore, one of the key priorities of the Kingborough Council Strategic Plan 2020-2025 aims to “ Encourage and support a safe, healthy and connected community;” I believe this proposed gymnasium is a fantastic way of addressing this priority by providing a suitable safe and healthy exercise option for the community.

A wonderful initiative to improve the health and wellbeing of those that attend

I believe this is a great idea, we need more family run local gyms. Would rather put money on a familys table then in a corporate jockys back pocket.
