Just been watching Atlantis on iplayer and cannot fathom why a 3rd series wasn't commissioned. It's been hugely captivating and we are all now left bereft not knowing how it will end! Will Jason choose Medea over Ariadne, will Pasiphae get defeated! Argh, so frustrating. If this was an American series, this would never happen... I wish Netflix or Prime would take it up...

I was late coming to the show, as I did not have anyway to watch it until it was available on Amazon prime. But I have to say, it was one of the best viewing experiences I have ever had, and we are absolutely shocked that it was canceled so soon. Change that to that it was canceled at all! The mythology was well represented, the acting was superb, all plot points were well thought out. later shows like Vikings, the last kingdom, and Game of Thrones thrived. But because Atlantis was one of the BBC shows which are notoriously canceled after only two seasons, we missed out on seeing the story to wits end. Atlantis was way ahead of its time and yes, even now, it should be brought back!
