The teenagers/kids need somewhere to go to burn off steam, whilst I love Atherstone because it is quiet, imagine being 13/14/15 during the school holidays.....boring

Tamworth has a large skate park, as have other towns. Atherstone should also have a similar sized park, not a silly little one, and no hut as this would only encourages undesirable behaviour.

This is such a necessary thing to happen for Atherstone. I have only just moved here, but as a teacher of 10 years (and secretly a skater for the last ahem years) I know when a town needs a park. Let me know what, if anything, I can do to help lobbying the council and things.

Would be great to have a skatepark for people to use, to promote sport and an active lifestyle not every kid wants to play football or cricket.

The old park is dangerous, good quality parks will last for generations.

Warwickshire is an area that has been behind in the great boom of great Skateparks being built in the UK. We have now reached a point where in order to fulfill the needs of young people, a community must provide a top quality concrete skatepark.

There should be a skatepark in the growing town. Beneficial for all children and those who want to use it. Maybe this would attract more people to the town, especially families.
