This is a great vision when skateboarding is now an Olympic sport. All ages would be able to engage, as well as all abilities, including those with additional needs who have challenges with balance and concentration, what a motivating way to develop such skills.
The town of Atherstone would surely benefit from any visitors to skating competitions, spectators and competitors need nourishment and entertainment. Atherstone's economy would be boosted . Think to the future and launch the skate park for the good of all!

In times of crisis, when young people’s mental health is more important to wider society than ever. Providing well thought out facilities - designed in consultation with the people who will use them - is of paramount importance!
Funding this will allow young people to transcend their daily worries, and have a safe space to build on the life skills they need for the future; That way we all benefit.
