Simply put (for now), I am petition to try and get someone who isn't a fundamental theist as a moderator the chatroom. This would promote a diverse discussion on the issue, and show a diversity of the chatroom. Of course, the issue would be simply for a temporary month-moderatorship to see how this would go, as per the common standard. This is just to show that people do want a more diverse level of moderating, with more views able to be shown. Further, I [Freedom] have been in the room roughly daily at some point around 12am PST (8pm BST/GMT), so I am certainly active. Further, a few months ago, I was regularly temp-modded to "keep the peace" and moderate the room. In addition, I constantly help moderators by messaging them when a troll is active in the room, providing evidence of actual dedication and seriousness. This petition is to give evidence (and actually learn (!)) if I am well recieved, which would cement good reasons to believe whether a new, non-theist moderator should be allowed. Recently in the world of theology (well, recently being 20th century) a large influx of non-theist theologians joined. Many protested. The idea of having a deist or atheist study theology seems strange. However, the realm of theology was many times greater because of it: the works of John Hick (RIP), for example, such as his theodicy and replica theory could not have been created without the constant challenging of his theodicy for rigour, as he states in his Gifford Lectures, and admirer Keith Ward says. So, I would be grateful for people to sign this. This is a petition for myself specifically, though if anyone has any other suggestions, I urge them to be stated. Please, when signing, put your username in the chatroom down as well: it would be evidence if 100 atheists wanted me as moderator, but it could easily be ignored and dismissed. But if it were 100 Christians, then this would be many times harder to dismiss.
