At a time when everyone is being encouraged to exercise more and spend more time out doors for mental well being I find it incomprehensible that the Town Council should consider charging for parking - absolutely crazy idea.

Charging to park around the park will deter many people's enjoyment and inevitably push cars to find alternative areas to park within the town to the detriment of others.

I agree that this would be a huge shame for the users of Ampthill Park as it would impact severely on the frequency that people could afford to go

Parking is a big issue and I think if you start to charge at the Park people will start to park and cause more congestion in the Town
