My name is deceptive, but my mothers name is Truc Chi Tram Le. I am Vietnamese, and therefore a descendent of survivors of genocide. The Chi you have detained, is also a descendent AS WELL AS a survivor in her own right. She has overcome so much, more than you will ever have to. Please do not support this person. I am the same age as her and I have contributed much less the society due to mental illness and I have trauma, but significantly less than Chi. She aided society in the pandemic despite probable mental illnesses. She is a member of this society.

Deporting her is not the solution, it is cruel and inhumane. She needs help and protection. Give her access to justice.

This disgraceful treatment of a young woman who has been the victim of sexual crimes makes me ashamed to be British. The asylum system MUST recognise the severity of these crimes and treat victims like Chi with compassion and justice, granting them asylum.

We need to put an end to this inhumane practice and demonstrate compassion
