The English department has chosen to solve its budget problems by further exploiting those who teach the courses that kept the department afloat. This is shameful, unfair, and another example of the haves living off the backs of those who have so little.

You are creating a situation that will harm the lives of NNT faculty. Remember that many NNT faculty are eventually hoping to become TT faculty at your institution or elsewhere. It is detrimental to the development of a scholar/teacher to make it less possible for them to do their creative work. And without creative work, you're not honoring the mission of a university, which is to bring more than "static content" to your "customers".
