More and more families are getting into debts and falling behind with rent arrears and as a result losing there homes.

Those of us trying to improve their lives by attending universities, full time college courses and working around the hours accessible for childcare are struggling to make ends meet. Shelter, has claimed 4 in 10 families have lost their home due to arrears. Panorama on bbc1 showed how little the councils and housing departments are trying to help forcing people to move outside of London, resulting in many giving up jobs and university courses and distracting children's education, not to mention alienating families from support networks. It is found more help is offered to asylum seekers and non British, we are not saying they to should not be offered help, but there needs to be more recognition that the country as it is right now is in turmoil. There needs to be more to offer single parents either attending universities and colleges. I was informed by the manager of housing that students fall into a hole as they are not working there fore are not paying taxes and therefore are not seen as useful and the government wants to encourage people to work rather than train....could this be a real reason for the increase in tuition fees. Let get them noticing that we are not going to sell ourselves short and work in a dead end job so they can benefit, but we are going to aim high and achieve our dreams and shouldn't be penalised for this.
I'm asking them to help those in universities and colleges, training to stop them either giving up their training or losing their home, and the revaluation of the whole benefit reform. And would like to ask them if they could survive on the minimum. Please sign.
