As a musician Freddie Fender was a great influence on my life. He proved to my at a very young old that all things were possible for this Mexican-American Boy. He was one of Us, our Hero! No Shame in His Fame!

As U.S. Navy person, now retired. I traveled to many foreign countries and met local people who knew of Fender and Texas Tornadoes enjoyed his music! It wasthe country music that gave him the door, now its time to welcome him where he belongs-with his Tornado buddies!

Should have been inducted years ago to both the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock Hall of Fame. He'll be in the Texas Music Hall of Fame® soon!

Freddy Fender was an amazing songwritter, singer and a bridge for the hispanic and Americans to unite in soulfull music. Besides that was an overall humble and good hearted towards all humans
