The decision to privatize a public asset is an important one, with long-term implications for taxpayers and government as a whole. The parking meter privatization deal caused a significant disturbance and could cost taxpayers as much as $1 billion in lost revenue. the meter deal was a total scam and we are still paying for it. no more backroom deals with our city property.
