I HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY ADULT LIFE IN NORTHERN NEW YORK. I SPANNED A FULL CAREER IN THE NEW YORK STATE POLICE SERVING MY NEIGHBORS IN JEFFERSON COUNTY. I HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE DISGUSTED AND ASHAMED OF OUR STATE GOVERNMENT IN RECENT YEARS. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF OUR GOVERNOR SHOVING HIS PROGRESSIVE EXTREME LEFTIST POLICIES DOWN OUR THROATS. FROM THE SAFE ACT, TO HIS STANCE ON ABORTIONS, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH. WE ARE LEAVING NEW YORK AD ITS NOT BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER. LEAVE OUR 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS ALONE. YOU ARE GOING TO DRIVE SO MANY GOOD PEOPLE OUT OF THIS STATE.

Passing gun laws that are aimed solely at the lawful gun owner does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to curb gun violence. It's time for criminals to serve a lengthier jail sentence and actually face to concequences of their actions. Stop limiting the people that have done nothing wrong!

Our 2nd Amendment rights are in danger of being taken away by New York State. This Governor will restrict our rights and hope that eventually,when taken to the Supreme Court, to will allow New York restrictions nation wide. I have never felt more like leaving New York than I have since the tragic abortion bill passed, disguised as a women’s health issue. Further restricting my 2nd amendment right may be the final push I need to leave the state.

If NY doesn’t want to honor the US Constitution, perhaps they should succeed. Don’t want to follow the federal laws, stop accepting federal monies. I’m sure Emporor Cuomo would love his own fiefdom.
