The law needs to up hold the truth . Julian has told people the truth , how can the UK cower to the US . Our system is broken if he is not freed. There is no possibility under the Espionage Act of explaining to the jury why he published the information about US war crimes. This extradition and prosecution is a tremendous danger to freedom everywhere. If the US can imprison an Australian for revealing US war crimes then anyone can imprison anyone and it becomes completely arbitrary. Who is the strongest? We have not advanced as a species since Ghengis Khan.
It has already been established in court that he is a journalist. It is completely normal for journalists to publish secret documents that have been verified. The US just doesn't like being caught in imperialistic war crimes.
