I believe my country gives equal rights and freedom to everyone irrespective of their religion, caste, language, gender, race or sexual preference. As a Tamil/Telugu/Hindi speaking male atheist I expect myself to be treated the same way and on the same plane as the 1.3 billion of my fellow Indians sharing this beautiful nation with me with their own personal choices of religion-language-social practices. We all have the right to speak our minds and demand equality and justice even if we didn't vote for the people in power.

I completely agree with the sentiments expressed in this petition and the FIR filed is simply ridiculous and draconian. I completely disagree with the tone and content of this petition which targets only one community as the instigator of violence and intolerance. It also does not mention the role of minority communities in the violence against Dalits of which there are numerous examples
