Jordan Administration and others on the committee have created a proposal that would change the dynamics of daycare and preschool for the 2016-2017 school year. We received this information last Tuesday, and we are supposed to be getting registration information (if this passes) sent out mid-March.

With the proposal, parents will no longer have the option of preschool, and daycare when needed. You will have to be enrolled in the new Wraparound program in order to take advantage of the daycare option. With this however, you will be paying a flat fee for 3 days or 5 days. If you are choosing 3 day preschool or 5 day preschool, and are wanting daycare, you will have to sign up for the Wraparound program. If you are gone at any point, you are still paying for the days you are gone. If this gets approved, the school has made a major overhaul and has done so without the input from those most impacted.

This petition is for Jordan Administration to vote against this change for now, until the people and families of the school have had their voices heard. I believe that change is good, but not without giving people, who are invested the most, a chance to talk about it. I say we hold off on this change for at least a year, and Jordan Administration spends the next year talking to the families who are the ones supporting Jordan, and using that data to make an informed decision.

By signing this petition, you are supporting the idea that OUR Administration passes on this proposal for now, and then spends time talking to those that will be impacted the most.
