I hope the Governor is aware of wide range of people in a community that use a library including the unemployed who come in to apply for jobs online because it's the only way even a Pizza Hut or Dollar General will take an application.

this is not an area that should be considered optional. I pay taxes to support certain primary community needs: the state of the roads and the state of our minds. don't mess with roads, education, or public libraries.

Missouri's public libraries are the great equalizer, making information resources available to all Missouri citizens, regardless of socioeconomic status, race or religion. Please keep funding public libraries to ensure every citizen has a chance to succeed.

God forbid we have a sanctuary to feel less oppressed & socially connected. Just how far back in time do you plan to take us, Mr. Nixon? Maybe if you spent more time reading at the library you would have used better words that were less condescending when you spoke down to the people of Ferguson like they were children. To paraphrase your own words: The eyes of Missouri are on you! Release those funds. No "please" from me. Do it because it is the right thing to do. Much blessings, even though I don't like you much right now.

To Governor Nixon and the legislators of Missouri, Taking away funds from public libraries will impact our young, old, both genders, and many who can not afford other resources. Rethink this lack of funding. Thank you.
