Thank you for going to Jefferson City. We've been working on this issue since June and I really thought that you all would be able to break through to the Governor. I'm sorry for how you were treated, but thank you for lending your voice to the struggle.

I think it is appalling that budgeted funds are being withheld from libraries who promote so much good in our state. The governor will never have my support with behavior like this (nor his party)..

libraries really need these funds in order to continue providing access to their whole communities to information ideas entertainment. Especially for the small libraries and smaller communities, because without funding they may have to forego resources that the community desperately needs, like tutor help online.

Withholding money from libraries, one of the few places people can go and actually take responsibility for some of their own education, and access resources to better themselves, makes no sense. Save money elsewhere. I'm happy to provide some suggestions, if needed.

Libraries are not a luxury. They are community centers, places to get much needed information and training. They are programs for children of all ages.
