Ask the Governor to Release Funds for Missouri's Public Libraries

My kids and I love to read, and it's still a special treat to get to go to the library.

I'm an employee here at the Henry County Library, and I feel Henry County deserves a quality library for its residents; furthermore, a good amount of the residents find enjoyment from the Library. We owe it not only to the children in this community who need adequate resources for school research and a place to study, but to the overall betterment of the town in a whole. This library is a center for people to come and learn, and to relax. It's a safe place for many who need a place to get away.

Many families in my community depend on our library. My middle school child has the reading level of a college student, directly due to the resources available at our public library. Please release funds & keep them STRONG to encourage all to keep utilizing this amazing resource. thanks!

i worked at Mid-Continent Library for over 30 years and I saw a lot of changes to help our children whom would have had problems without the help of the libraries. I'm disabled now and I like to get my books on my iPad,so I use the library a lot, to get my books because it's hard for me to get out. So I beg of you don't stop the funding of the libraries our children and elderly, need their services, very badly. Thank you for reconsidering the funding of these funds.

Please release the funding allocated specifically for the public libraries in Missouri! Such public services are a major support and help for Missouri citizens. Access to information, exploration, entertainment, and education is vital through the public libraries!

Libraries are the best use of our resources! They keep up with advancements in electronics and publishing, and I hate the idea that they may be deprived of the resources to continue their important work. Please put Missouri's libraries at the top of your list of priorities.
