It is sad to hear that Nixon is only allotting about 1/3 of the money that should be going to the libraries. I homeschool my son and I am an avid reader. We use the online catalog for audiobooks and nook books all the time. We are also at the library checking out armfuls of books and movies every couple of weeks.

Please release funds for Missouri's public libraries. My mother took me and my sisters to the library when we were small and we exceled in reading. Now I'm doing the same thing with my daughter. I also use the computers at the public library when I was laid off from work last March and I was able to obtain a job 8 months later by sending my resume via email using the public library. We need them and all the full resources they provide for children, adults and senior citizens. I also take my daughter to the youth activities during the school year and in the summer at my local mid-continnent library which are FREE. That is much needed when on a limited income. Thank you!
