Ask the City of Camas for more firefighters on fire engines

This is disturbing to have this come to this.We apparently have blindly trusted all of our community needs are fully funded and provided for.To not be using our taxes used for what they were intended for.sad state of our once great town,We were once very proud to live in as well as did not mind paying more than if we lived in Vancouver.It should not have taken the number of years that it has to get some result.They are mistaken it will not take time.start designating funds to there proper use as well as what we voted on.not just to a general fund.How dare people jeopardise our fireman,as well as open our town up to law suits.

With the amount of growth and wealth in Camas and Washougal we should meet at least the state requirements.

My neighbor works for the Portland Fire Dept .... He says “if your house catches on fire, grab your valuables and get out!.... Your house will likely be a total loss with Camas FD readiness/availability/response time... WAY under-staffed!”

For too long we have been ignoring this issue. I stand in solidarity with my brothers and sisters and ask for appropriate staffing.

As a citizen of Camas and as a firefighter I support this petition.
