To say there has been media disrespect for the Bernie campaign and those of us who support him is an understatement. I just want to mention one particular news outlet as a case in point: the Boston Globe. I'm a believer in newspapers - they are generally much more in depth than the TV news and have the staffs to investigate and report on local stories. So for the last 10 years I've subscribed to the Boston Globe.

However, since the beginning of the primary season, the Globe has not just supported Hillary in editorial content but also in unequal op eds and consistently in news stories. I have no problem with a paper reporting facts but the consistent slant has been hard to miss. For example when Bernie recently won in Indiana, the New York Times (also a Clinton supporter) ran the following headline: Trump All but Clinches G.O.P. Nomination; Sanders Rebounds With Win Over Clinton. Fair enough. The Globe had nothing on page one at all, and inside ran the following: Bernie Sanders says Indiana win was ‘great upset’. The tone of the piece was similarly sneering, in short the piece was mostly about Clinton's insuperable delegate lead.

There are many such examples where the Globe, like most of the media, has failed to treat the Bernie candidacy, and the aspirations of much of the population for the types of programs he espouses, seriously and with respect. One might think that a paper that went through a major upheaval trying to "cut costs" further on the backs of the "independent contractors" who deliver the paper, 365 days a year without benefits, healthcare or even sick time, would be more understanding of these issues and their resonance.

I have already voted in this matter, regretfully cancelling my subscription to the Boston Globe. Anyone who feels as I do in this matter, should make the same statement by signing this petition and perhaps likewise cancelling your subscription if you have one. I will make the results of this petition available to the Globe.

I am ashamed not to have anticipated that the Boston Globe would be so biased in its coverage of the Democratic Primary that it does not respect the tradition of objective journalism in its 'news', and that it does not deserve the distinction of being a Fair and Balanced reporter any more than Fox News ever has.

Today's NON Bernie headline was "Mass. voters favor Clinton over Trump, poll finds." No mention of the fact that polls have shown for months that Bernie has a much greater chance of beating Trump than HIllary does.

Thanks for the petition. What the Globe has done to its "contractors" is sinful. I hear the horror stories at the North Shore Labot Council. Yes, Bernie's coverage in mass watered down media has been skimpy at best and exaggerated when there is a disturbance at a rally. People should read his book about his Vision for America.

I have been so disappointed With the coverage this newspaper has given both senator sanders and his supporters. Feels more like a Fox News organization.

Absolutely horrified of Trump to Sanders ratio of courage - how irresponsible and shameful. Plus the slanted coverage against Sanders is disgraceful. Do your jobs. Report on the real situation in our country. Including those who have had their votes stolen.
