Libraries today are more than just books (although books are awesome and everyone deserves access to them) --- libraries need funding now more than ever as they become cultural centers of their communities in creative new ways.

As an elementary school librarian, I have already seen what cuts have done to limit my ability to provide good resources to my students and teachers. I rely on my local library to fill in what I cannot afford to buy for my school library. If you cut public library funding, it will be devastating to my ability to find what my teachers need. Please reconsider the cuts and save our libraries.
