Federal Agency Reps & Officials: Tell FERC to do a PEIS for Virginia Pipelines

There is so much involved here it is vital that this be done.

please think about the greater future.

We don't need or want these pipelines. They are for corporate, private gain, and will not benefit Virginia at all.

Please do a review of all pipelines for need and to United States. Non should be used for export.

Stop cutting corners and pushing an agenda. As elected officials, it is your job to do everything within your power to protect the citizens rights.

Please listen to reason & do not abuse our scarred and sacred Nelson County land. Our historical, environmentally beautiful heritage of community and small hardworking farm families were almost removed from our county in 1969 by a hurricane. This monstrous land invasion is only about corporate GREED. Other environmental energy resources, like solar or wind, is a much better environmental friendly option!! SHAME ON U. No pain no gain.

None of these pipelines should be approved at all and lumping them together to help fast track them is INEXCUSABLE.

No APC, there is nothing right about it! It seems pretty obvious why. Don't you think so. Do what is RIGHT!!!!

We do not need more pipelines. We have enough gas available to us right now for domestic use. We know that these projects are to move gas to export terminals to be sold to other countries at a profit to the gas industry. Meanwhile we are losing our property rights and our land use through eminent domain. Our precious resources such as water and air is being poisoned and people and all life in these impact zones, referred to by the industry as "sacrificial zones" is being destroyed. This must not continue. It is not progress, it is the wrong direction for us to be headed in.

The days of destroying our precious earth are over and, as such, it is time for Dominion to turn toward cleaner, more sustainable forms of energy. An investment in more dead-end, toxic energy is a poor business and environmental choice. Stop the pipeline now.

I urge FERC to conduct a single, comprehensive regional review of all four proposed natural gas pipeline projects. This Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) must comprehensively evaluate the need for these four pipelines; assess the direct, indirect, and cumulative impacts of overall pipeline development in this region; and fully consider all reasonable, less-damaging alternatives in a single document.

The 40,000 HP compressor station planned for Buckingham is comparable to the Titanic's engines...and will run 24/7/365 belching invisible, toxic gases including endrocrine disruptors, carcinogens, methane, volatile organic compounds and poisonous fracking chemicals. And Dominion is trying to tell us it is "just like a water pump." Dominion has been irresponsible and disingenuous in its interactions with the public...We are disappointed and disgusted.

Too much risk.

Please urge the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to conduct a single, comprehensive regional review of all four interstate natural gas pipeline projects currently proposed. It makes sense. It's the right thing to do.

Please do what's right for the citizens of Virginia and for their future generations. This pipeline should not be built.

Don't let Duke Energy and Dominion turn the Shenandoah Valley into a sacrifice zone for their private profits. Big Energy always promises jobs and local revenue in exchange for ruining the water, air and land. Just look at West VA if you think that's a fair trade. All Pain and No Gain for the Valley. We have everything to lose and nothing to gain by Duke and Dominion's gold rush to export LNG.

esterday, the Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Department of the Interior independently filed comments stating that the Atlantic Coast Pipeline application "could not be processed" due to incomplete information, citing a lack of comparative environmental impact data and adequate information regarding resources and route alternatives. I strongly object to Dominion's attempt to obtain federal approval via an application rife with omissions and incomplete data. Under no circumstances should an incomplete application be accepted, let alone fast-tracked. This attempt to cut corners to obtain approval does not inspire confidence in Dominion's ability to properly and safely manage the installation and maintenance of the proposed ACP, a high-pressure pipeline of unprecedented scope, size, and complexity. I urge the FERC to fully enforce all of the rules and regulations applicable to this filing. I also request that FERC provide adequate time for public and federal agency review of the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) when it is issued. Given that the draft EIS will provide a large amount of information that I need to review to protect my interests, I request that FERC allow a minimum of 120 days for public comment.

Please ensure a thorough regulatory process that will protect Virginians from needless harm by urging FERC to conduct a single review of all 4 natural gas pipeline projects proposed for the area: Atlantic Coast, Mountain Valley, Appalachian Connector and WB Express Project pipelines. This is extremely concerning. Thank you.
