Leave the asses alone, they are not your entertainment.

I believe you are missing the point. Coming up with an alternative fundraiser is not the responsibility of the people who are trying to advocate for the animals nor is it their responsibility to donate.

I have read most of the comments up till now, yet I have not seen any suggestions of an alternative fund raiser??!! As a parent, animal owner and resident of Earlville animal cruelty is wrong. However I don't see any of the 113 signatures volunteer to donate even a single dollar to the school to prevent this cause. I look forward to the game as many other animal sports are still encouraged throughout our area and endorsed by the area residents!!

What is the point of putting animals through a game they would have no idea of what is going on?

I can't believe we have to tell you this. As a lead learner in your school, you should model responsible choices. Think of something else to engage your students that does not involve animal cruelty.

What a disgrace. Our educators should not be promoting animal use and abuse to our children and their families. You will regret this, if you go forward with it. Choose wisely.
