I oppose the proposed language.
I don't want any LGBT youth to be forced into coercive therapy, but I believe the proposed language doesn't sufficiently protect the right of teens to discuss their concerns, questions, and values regarding any confusion they may be experiencing related to sex and gender.
Better language needs to be drafted to allow teens to seek therapy according to freely chosen values and the rights of therapists to provide such.
