How is a 3 year old child going to survive in a formal environment, please stop this child abuse you are promoting. Teachers are not trained for early childhood development setup. Stop killing our children.0-4 belong to the ECD Sector.

This amendment not only threatens the healthy development of our children, but also destroys thousands of ECD centres across South Africa that form the backbone of our communities. We demand that the Department: 1. Preserve the role of ECD centres for children aged 0–5. 2. Work with ECD practitioners and communities to strengthen, not undermine, early childhood development. 3. Ensure that education policies put children’s best interests first.
