As a teacher I know how we are struggling in foundation phase with kids of age 4-5,they really can’t cope in classes. Admission for grade R should be of learners age 6

Children Are Not Ready: Most under-5s are not socially, emotionally, or physically prepared for structured schooling.

I oppose the Bella Bill - it will take away jobs from creche teachers and harm early childhood education Children aged 3-4 belong in ECD centres, not in primary schools, keep our teachers employed. Our kids need trained ECD teachers not rushed into primary school. Protect jobs and children's futures." Save ECD jobs and protect our little ones,"

Thumbs down no three years children to attend Public Schools in future. Please South Africa let us not destroy our future leaders. Tata Oliver Tambo said the country, society and community that does not value its youth and children doesn't deserve its future

Disrupts ECD: Early Childhood Development centres provide the nurturing, play-based learning environment 3–4 year olds need. Moving them into schools too early disrupts their growth.
