Asilweni Bo Mama’s Stop the Early Admission of 3–4 Year Olds into Grade R: Protect the ECD Phase

Parents and educators agure that children should not enter grade R at the age of 3to 4 years age but rather stay in pre schools until they are devepmentally ready for formal schools typically in the age of 5 to 6 years age . The perspective suggests that pre schools provides a more play based nurturing environment that better support social emotional and cognitive development . They must be ready at 5 years in oder for them to go ready for their educational journey better.

Children up to 5yrs belong to Early childhood development centers

Consultation is very important for such matters with all those who are concerned not just the government leave our kids to nicely develop till the right age

3-4 years old kids must not be allowed at grade R classes

We don't appreciate the fact that children at this young have to be held in primary school.In my own opinion I'd say they're been abducted in some sense because if you dwell on it ,no one will take care of them like we do in creche . :children have a different schedule of eating unlike primary school pupils :We embark more on teaching them with passion since some would grasp knowledge at a later stage :

We come against the law that allows young children to be admitted in grade R without a transfer from ECD centre Every new grade R child must produce ECD transfer letter

I asked DOE to stop Bela to take 3-4 years children to schools.

No more admission of 3 to 4 yearly olds in Grade R you are killing the ECD sector.and introducing children to an environment that is beyond their mental capacity

No 3 - 4 years admitted at Primary Schools

Keep 3-4 years at ECD centre's,don't be greedy
