Hong Kong is a World City and not just China focused. That’s what distinguishes us from just any city in China. Let’s keep it that way.

What HK needs is to make ensure that the 70plus age group is vaccinated. Look at the data from Singapore. 21 days of q is too long and a waste of resource. China has 14 days plus 7 days at home.

We’ve lived in hk for 13 years. Because we live the city, our jobs. And the ability to easily travel to see our families around the world. The quarantine restrictions have meant we haven’t seen our children in college or, our elderly parents in two years. The appeal of hk is gone. And we are starting the process of looking for new jobs in other countries with more realistic covid management policies.

Lets keep quarantine until Summer 2022 as this keeps us safe.

Stop the cruelty and end hotel quarantine.

Many people are leaving HK for good due to the draconian Covid governance here. Unfortunately, the city that welcomed me with open arms more than a decade ago and the city I fell in love with is no longer that. The people are still warm and friendly but the government HS made it clear that it does not welcome foreigners, especially Indians any longer. Sad to bid adieu.
