- Probability of hotel acquired infections in 21-day quarantine, is greater than it would be for 14-day quarantine.
- The mental and emotional impact is far-reaching: loved ones are unable to reunite, family tragedies are dealt with in isolation, and jobs are being lost.
- Across the world, the more vaccination rates climbed, the more open the borders: however here in Hong Kong, what is the incentive to get vaccinated?

My elderly parents and I have suffered huge mental strains that have led to physical health problems too due to the 21-day hotel quarantine rule. Please reinstate the 7-day quarantine for those of us who are vaccinated.
It doesn’t make sense to me to have a 3 week quarantine when we are at 0 cases. We would like to see our family overseas and haven’t been able to do so for 2.5 years. We are a family of 5 and simply can’t afford to stay in a hotel for 3 weeks.
Totally agree. Currently on Day 12 of a 21 day hotel quarantine period and there is no scientific evidence to prove that more than 14 days is required. As stated the risk of us now contracting Covid will increase as a result of us being here a further 7 days.

21 days quarantine is very difficult financially and emotionally. Appreciate if we can reduce hotel quarantine or eliminate completely by doing home quarantine for 21 days and installing CCTV cameras outside of the door to ensure no lapses. It will help a lot.
