It's a shame that our colleges may lose their job over this because they have nowhere to put them .

Morale is totally gone, Management dont care and for the most dont even talk or look at colleagues anymore, asda say they have to money but can spend 100m on a fleet of lorries and give gsm`s 30k bonuses at xmas when people are loosing they jobs, their homes to below the breadline wages, hours getting reduced and having to do the work of 3x colleagues then management flaunt all the money in bonues with new cars etc and i for one cant afford to put my heating on or eat properly, mental health for many at a all times low, dont think they realise how much preasure they are putting on people especially financially with paying £1.20 a hour less than every other supermarket and happy to put prices in store up several times a year

They wonder why they're losing money & colleagues hand over first, no wonder! Won't be long until asda ceases to exist the way they're carrying on. Morale is so low in every store!

I work in one of the canteens that are closing and doesn't seem like there are going to be any jobs in other areas so please keep this going

We will need to take longer breaks then to buy stuff in store, which we are only allowed to do on lunch. I reckon they just want us to spend money. When we were told about this the management said they thought it wouldn't affect many people apart from the colleagues but really it is the most basic of our benefits if not the only benefit they give us-and as per the ASDA VALUES they ought to be doing it everywhere not only stores where the colleagues already work hard and are the customer facing facet, which is how we make profit by getting customers and maintaining them. Bad choice asda

All cutlery,plates and bowls are going to be removed from our canteen. Where's the motivation for collegues, going to be harder for people who have short breaks or work when the store is closed.

Asda keep taking things off us and wonder y morale is at an all time low stuff like this is why they say they care about the colleagues and then do this

As an ex-employee of Asda, the facilities in the canteen are vital for the staff to ensure they can get food and drinks during their breaks time without having to spend time on breaks going to buy food in busy stores so they have the correct breaks to relax that they are entitled to.

My disable son works in the staff canteen in the Colindale store and is very upset by the news of closure not only for himself but for the staff.

I'd like to see the canteens stay in place for the inmates, also I'd like to see lower prices.
