Those leading secession in Yoruba land hate Muslim and Islam with passion so much so that it shows in their behaviour and what they hide in thier breast is even worst

This is serious and requires urgent attention to prevent violation of fundamental human rights of Muslims.

I wonder why Shariah law belonging to Islam should be agitated for by Odua nation to be removed from constitution.

This petition and many of the petitioners are driven by religious egoism and sentiments. That's the current issue we have with the current country we are. Everything is all about religion and ethnicity. A Muslim feels safe or high sense of inclusion only when someone practicing his or her faith is in power and not necessarily about the performance or leadership qualities of that person. It's a free world, we all have our rights to air our opinion but as a Muslim, I feel it's too early to play the ostrich and condemn such agitations simply because the major front liners are Christians by name. Let's think about it if we say we want Sharia law separate from the conventional law, is it not unfair and divisive on the part of others. So we will have chaos again and confusion when different laws apply for each subgroup or religious settings. It's up to us to decide but we need to be logical and avoid whipping unnecessary sentiments all in the name of religion. Humanity and development should come first before any religion. My humble take.

Odudua republic agitators have no respect for Muslims rights like hijab, sheria court, Islamic culture.

Muslims of the south west are not in anyway safe in the proposed oodua republic if achieved. They will have their rights in all forms deprived more than ever before. I laugh every time I see people saying "religious tolerance" exists in the south west. Why? It is simply because the oppressed(Muslims) are being diplomatic and haven't been demanding justice from their oppressors (mainly Christians). With all sincerity Muslims are the real "religious tolerants" in the south Western part of the country who are still making it look matured in the face of the outsiders.
