Please don't remove Arts and Music from our school. Not all children are gifted academically but are talented in these areas. All children should have the right to explore and learn other areas in addition to English Maths Science etc.

Mr Corcoran in particular was a significant influence in my daughters education at Burtonwood

What a shame so many young people gained from these teachers.

To reduce access to these subjects is failing an entire group of children. Those who struggle with the typically academic subjects and those that need these subjects to express themselves and help maintain focus in other subjects. The school band at BCPS was a huge part of my life as a pupil and I learnt so much alongside the music.

Remain, don't retrain. Cutting the arts cuts creativity!

I am sadden to hear about the proposed cuts to this type of provision. This school has historically done this year on year. My oldest daughter has experienced some amazing opportunities, strengthened friendship groups and learnt new skills in an enjoyable way.

Art has been one of the key features of Burtonwood and both of my children have loved this. To remove or stop this would be a shame

Stop taking away the creative activities needed to unlock creative minds.

My son is upset that his favourite subject has been taken away from school with no reasonable answer as to why

Splash Art Club and the fantastic art taught by Mr Corcoran has been absolutely invaluable for the wellbeing of our children. The children who have been taught at splash art club for the last two year are absolutely devastated that this provision has been removed with no consultation whatsoever
