To: Kelley Lindquist, president, Artspace Projects, Inc. We, the undersigned, request an inquiry into why artist Gian Palacios was wrongly evicted from Elder Street Artist Lofts. Mr Palacios, resident for 8 years, was given 72 hours to move, charged $4000 in inflated and demonstrably false repair costs, and issued a half dozen spurious lease violations immediately prior to lease renewal. Photographic proof that Mr Palacios' live/work loft space was well-maintained, clean and functional will be provided. We want to understand why Mr Palacios was issued with an official letter from on-site management expressly forbidding him to clean and/or otherwise repair any normal wear and tear on a live/work space. We wish to understand why Mr Palacios, one of the first tenants, longest lasting resident in good standing, and active in the local community, ever since Elder St opened in 2005, was thrown out of his home for no satisfactory reason whatsoever.

The volume of support has secured a meeting with the local planning board to review the eviction protocols at Elder Street. We are currently compiling the maintenance logs and photographic records to present as evidence during this hearing.

TOTAL BULLSHIT. treating a long term resident like a criminal is just low.

This is completely wrong. 8 years of being a good tenant and he gets treated like this? shame on you artspace.

Ridiculous. Everyone knows gian keeps his place spotless. sounds like management has it out for him for some reason.

72 hours to move out is insane. nobody can pack a whole life in 3 days. leave him alone!
