Good honest people work and shop here and they know that they will pay the fine. Tickets in other neighborhoods go unpaid. It's so obvious when the traffic officers come in groups, all day long, it looks like a raid. This is a good way to ruin a good neighborhood.

Coming to Arthur Avenue is an experience. First the traffic! Takes about 25 minutes from the Bronx River or white plains road to arrive to 187th. Thanks to our beloved DMV and moving violations which destroyed all our homes on Cambreleng Avenue and cause all the traffic in the neighborhood. Another 20 minutes to find parking. No free parking, no parking spots and not enough parking lots. When you finally find a metered spot Better put 2 hours because Batman is on the right and
Robin on the left walking up and down making sure the moment your time is up they are there to give a fine. I love this neighborhood. However, our Community leaders have done nothing to make life easier for the residents and the visitors. This is a great neighborhood but living here has become increasingly more difficult. and no one is doing anything to improve our quality of life. Too many meters where are the residents suppose to park?

They wait for you to go to the meter to pay and write you a ticket while you are putting money in the meter. When questioned as to why they wrote you a ticket while you were putting money in the machine to get your ticket, the response is well there isn't a ticket in the window now.. Disgusting!!!
