In addition to our tuition prices, we litterally pay so much for artcenter to have moldy food in the fridge and leave expired food to be purchased. We're paying close to 50k for this. Artcenter is also fully aware of what times certain teachers and certain classes will be taught and where on campus. Why is it that I'm taking 2 classes on a Saturday from 9am to 7pm with the only food available be some yogurt, salads, and whatever snacks and drinks is being sold when we're paying so much. We don't even have the option to have hot meals bought on campus because the kitchen isn't open. As a student, it doesn't feel like we're being treated like we are the backbone of this school but barely above the minimum of what they're willing to give us.

The instructors at ArtCenter are the only reason I’m here. If they leave I’m gone too and I’m sure many can say the same..

Where is our tuition going? All this money and hardly any at home licenses, talks, or proper payment to faculty?

I really feels like everyone around me feels the exact same way.

This is absolutely correct, the administration must think backwards: don’t blame instructors for going on a strike and being a tuition waster, rather think of how you have failed instructors and students.

My daughter will be graduating in the spring. We are paying well over $200,000 for her education. Be professional and take care of your obligations.

Parent of 1st year UG student. Do better Art Center. I did not relocate my child to live off campus, take night classes and to now be subjected to a strike where he will effectively have to teach himself. I would also like to know where tuition dollars are going. I am paying for a top tier school that is running itself like a community college. My son was also denied a locker because there are not enough for the entire student body requiring him to transport his projects back and forth daily. I don’t understand the priorities of the school, especially when so little is offered in support of student life.

Artcenter is nothing without its amazing professors, and they deserved to be treated as a priority and be respected for the amazing work they do.

I strongly agree with the statements made and we need to be heard. Changes need to be made and the staff, faculty, and students on artcenter deserve better.

We need a clear understanding of where our money is going and when/how we will be refunded if faculty strikes. I want negotiations to go quickly on behalf of our faculty. Meet their demands and we can all go back to a working learning environment!
