This is a petition to send a message to the board of Arsenal FC regarding the recent approaches by foreign investors trying to take over the club. We are happy with Arsenal FC\'s current ownership and would like to state publicly that we do not want Arsenal FC sold to anyone in order to avoid it becoming a clone of the clubs that have recently been acquired by those who view Football clubs as a cash cow (i.e. the buyers of Liverpool FC and Man Utd) or a toy with which to play (Chelsea FC). We feel that Arsenal FC has a great history and has always stood for the highest levels of integrity in the sport and would like it to remain a shining example to other clubs in the English Premier League of how a club should be run, for the fans, and to highlight that there is another path to success that doesn\'t require any football club having to sell it\'s soul unless it is in the worst financial situation that dictates such new investment, a situation currently that Arsenal is not faced with. We the undersigned ask you to please do everything in your power to fight any and all take over moves made by David Dein and the Red & White holding company of which he is Chairman. Furthermore, we request that all shareholders do not sell shares in Arsenal FC to this company or any other aggressive outside investor in an effort to keep Arsenal a club that cares about its fans and its football first. Do not let Arsenal FC suffer the fate of clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester Utd.
