Safe standing would have a positive effect on atmosphere and help return football to its roots. I also imagine that more supporters would be able to fit into the safe standing areas, thus increasing match day revenue for the football club.

If it is safe then I do not understand a reason why the club would oppose. People will not be forced into the areas, so blocked views cannot be used as an excuse.

We all have seen how safe standings have improved the atmosphere hugely in leagues like the scotish and the Bundesliga. I think its time to try the safe standings in the BPL, and bring back the old days atmosphere to the premier league.
