It is right that Arsenal take their place as the pioneers in English football, a position they've occupied for 80 years. Standing will increase attendance, greatly improve the atmosphere, and thus provide more enjoyment for fans and more support for the team. Everyone wins and Arsenal must push for it.

Was a season ticket holder 1984-2011, but the Emirates is boring to watch games. I try and sing, but there aren't enough like minded people around me or they feel too conscious to start singing like me. Will continue to go to away games, but I can only handle a few games a season at the Emirates. Other leagues and sports allow safe standing and it's only a matter of time before we get it.

Standing operates without any real problems throughout the world and would be safe if planned and managed correctly.

attend at least 20home games a season and if we are to become a dynasty like Bayern we need to improve the atmosphere and set the standard for English clubs both on and off the pitch.
