Olicity anchors the hero. Felicity reminds Oliver that he can be better. It makes him want to be the hero Felicity knows he can be. Plus, the chemistry is undeniable and makes the show better.

JUST Because you don't like what is being said, hardly makes them pointless, their "chemistry" only exists until Rickards opens her mouth, then its lost. This ship RUINED season3, and detracted from the WHOLE story, her character is also not even a character but a plot device, please, use your brain and not your mouth next time.
